7th European conference on Weaning and Rehabilitation in Critically ill Patients

Invite your entire ICU team, including doctors, rehabilitation physicians, physician assistants, nurse practioners, nurses, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, psychologists and social workers.
Early registration | Until September 1st, 2019 | € 190,00
Regular registration | As of September 2nd, 2019 | € 210,00
Welcome drinks | Friday November 8th | 18:00 – 19:00 hrs
Join us for some drinks and Dutch snacks on Friday evening in café In de Waag.
The café was originally built in 1488, located in the heart of Amsterdam and a characteristic monumental structure, lit by 300 candles.
The building also houses a historical Theatrum Anatomicum which was built in 1691 as a space for anatomical lectures dedicated to advanced experimenting, observing and learning. In the centre stood a dissection table on which the corpse of a recently executed criminal could be cut up. These demonstrations were open to the public and proved immensely popular in Amsterdam. It was especially for the theatre that Rembrandt painted his famous Anatomical Lesson of Dr Nicolaes Tulp in 1632, currently at the Mauritshuis in The Hague.
The costs are € 7,50 per person.

NEW: Best practice video's
For the 2019 Amsterdam conference we introduce a new program item: best practice video.
A selection of short video’s will be shown in the plenary program on Sunday.
What (extra) activities do you undertake to improve the care for your (chronic) ICU patient? Is there a particular practice in your ICU you are proud of? Think about interdisciplinary team efforts regarding weaning, rehabilitation or family participation.
Submit your best practice video and maybe you will be given the opportunity to show it to your colleagues from all over the world!
How it works
Send your video together with a short description of the content and a motivation why you feel it is important for participants of this conference to see the video, to the conference secretariat.
The video has a time limit of 3 minutes and should be send via WeTransfer to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Best practice video deadline: September 16th, 2019
Please note: please consider and adhere to your hospital's privacy regulations and patients' privacy rights when filming. Each video should be accompanied with a written informed consent of all people in the video.
